Props
I did not use any props during the photoshoot as I felt the images would be more successful if they included the model alone rather than with any extra objects. This worked well for me as I have been able to crop the background out of some photos to make the magazine look more consistent but this would've been more difficult and time consuming if I had also featured props.

Practice and Original PS Reflection
Here I have my original practice for another magazine as well as my final magazine cover that I have created. The finished product looks much more professional and it looks much more detailed than the 'Modify' magazine. I prefer the 'Placid' magazine as it looks a lot more professional and holds more details meaning it is a lot more eye catching to the target audience of indie rock fans.

Rationale and Mis-en-scene
This is a link to my goanimate video that i have created to show the rationale and mis-en-scene of my magazine.
I have since added an extra colour to my colour scheme which is a red that is consistent throughout the rest of the magazine.
I have also used an informal tone throughout the magazine as it helps to create a relationship with the reader as they feel as if they are being spoken to rather than reading an article.

Used Photos
These are the photos that I have used in the creation of my magazine. I chose these ones as I thought that they were the best suited to the target audience of my magazine which is indie rock fans. I have used these photos as they seem to be clear and can immediately create a relationship between the viewer and the image as it reach out to them due to the similarities that each image holds.

DPS Peer Feedback
Here is my peer feedback that I have received from people in class.
It is going to help me to notice any intakes I have made and take their suggestions into account when changing the Double Page Spread. This will be able to help to identify the features that will work well in my magazine and the features that won't. Doing this allows me to reach a larger target audience and I will be able to direct the work more originally to my target audience of indie rock fans.

DPS Comparison
This is a DPS taken from Kerrang. I have used this to create my double page spread. I liked how they used columns to keep the text in place which makes t look tidy and organised which will appeal to my target audience as it will be quicker and therefore easier to read. I also like how the background for the photo has been removed and a plain colour has been used in place of it. This makes the image stand out and also makes the text stand out against the clear background as well.
